Website purpose
This website was made with the intended purpose of teaching the history and importance that video games have had in our world. Showing that video games are not "a waste of time" or "cause violence", but instead to prove once and for all that video games have had a more positive influence to people around the world.
How to avoid "Violent" Video Games?
Many parent's atribute video games toward their child's uncempt behavior, however oftentimes the game requires adults to be present to buy the game. The main reason little kids can be heard on game lobby's or in-game chat is because their parent's don't know what games their child should, or shouldn't be playing like GTA-5, Apex, or PubG. So, how do you know if a game is suted for your child? The awnser is easy, on the bottom left of any game amaray there is a white box that can have a letter ranging from E to M. The E stands for everyone and is most likely a safe game for any kid to play, the T stands for teen and will have more graphic depictions, but the M stands for mature and shouldn't be played by a child unless they have their parent's permission.
Are Video Games a Waste of Time?
More often than not, video games are seen as a waste of time that should be left behind in your childhood to gather dust with your toy's and nightlights, but video games are more than childish things to be left behind, they are amazing tools for story telling that can completely emerse you in a story and mean a lot to some people. Some people have used video games to escape the harsh reality of life, where they can be repremanded for simply being curious in the real world, video games encourage creativity and experimentation. In a world where a child can be bullied and ostricised for being different, in video games they can be praised for their unique ways of thinking. Parent's don't always see how rough their child's day can be, so when they tell their child to "stop wasting time" it can cause the child to stop opening up to their parents entirely because they know that they won't be taken seriously.
